Uniforms
All students attending SPH in grades Pre-K through 8th will be in uniform while on campus, and adhere to our modesty policy, which will be elaborated upon further in the student handbook. Moms that are attending to teach or volunteer should be dressed in modest church attire appropriate for entering the chapel.
- GIRLS :
- Short-sleeved red polo shirt (example)
- Black skirt, do not alter length.
- Grades PreK – 2nd – Knee length black skirt (please wear shorts of some kind underneath for modesty)
- Grades 3 and up – Long black uniform skirt (Cookieskids brand has a great one or something similar. No knit-material type skirts, they look lumpy and form fitting when a shirt is tucked in)
- *Black dress shoes/plain tennis shoes of choice, no media designs (closed toe)
- White socks ; white or black tights in colder months
- Hair accessories : white, black, or red
- Optional Outerwear :
- Solid black, white, or red cardigan sweater, sweatshirt, or sweater.
- BOYS :
- Short-sleeved red polo (example)
- Black dress pants. No tight pants or skinny pants allowed.
- *Plain black dress shoes/plain tennis shoes, no media designs
- White or black socks
- Black belt.
- Optional Outerwear : Solid black jacket or sweatshirt
*Athletic shoes without media may be brought to school to wear during PE to prevent damage to dress shoes. Media examples are designs like Disney characters, Lego, Minecraft, etc.
Backpacks – a rolling backpack is suggested for 1st grade and up, since students have to bring multiple books and backpacks tend to get heavy.
Because it is impossible to encompass every eventuality of dress and appearance, the judgment of SPH is final in these matters where situations arise.
